Week 3 Progress (Part 4)
In relation to thinking, we have to come up with a team flag, group photo and a official group manifesto. It was pretty challenging as we just got to know each other and we need to speed learning on how we collaborate to make this progress happening immediately. Thankfully our tutor was there to guide us patiently and slowly we developed our first ideas into a complete and satisfied final one.
Without any doubt, we agreed on choosing 'Amigos' as our group team name as it literally means 'friends' in Spanish. Our group manifesto is 'advocating women who are suffering in silence' which fights for a strong reason. Perhaps this is what differentiates us from other groups. Our group members? Michelle, Hurasa, Sona, Maca, Wan Min, Eujayne, Mei Kei, Chan Hee, they are all awesome people! Glad to have them.
Moving on to ways to stop violence against women, I believed that education is unavoidable. With the knowledge you have in mind, you can change the world. Awareness are raised only with courage and unity, as Malala Yousafzai once quoted: "We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back". Well said! Assignment 1, here we go!
